Installing Ubuntu Workstations
Steps
The steps we take to set up our Ubuntu workstations are as follows:
UbuntuWorkstations/SetUpSamba - In order to integrate with our network resources, we'll need Samba to run smoothly.
UbuntuWorkstations/AuthenticationSetup - Allowing network users to log in is nice.
UbuntuWorkstations/InstallMe - Packages we like to install and (sometimes) how.
UbuntuWorkstations/SetUpWinePrograms - Sometimes we have to run win32 programs on our Ubuntu workstations.
UbuntuWorkstations/SetUpItalc - On images that will be deployed in computer labs, we set up iTALC.
UbuntuWorkstations/CanterburySpecificSettings - Just our personal preferences.
UbuntuWorkstations/LaptopSpecific - Laptops are just special, donchaknow.
